Missouri Historical Society Model Railroad Layout

Exhibited Oct 2002 to Jan 2003

Link to website of the Missouri Historical Society. The Gateway Division designed, constructed and donated this recreation of the "St. Louis Central" model railroad layout for the Missouri Historical Society.

This operating train layout was part of an exhibit on models and miniatures at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park (Saint Louis) October 5, 2002 to January 21, 2003. This train layout is no longer on exhibit at the museum, but you can still explore it through the approximately one hundred photos we have added to our website.

Model Railroader Layout

Gateway Division members built the Model Railroader magazine Saint Louis Central 2001 project model railroad in less than 3 days at the Saint Louis 2001 National Train Show.
